Perla Maalouf
Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with extensive experience across various professional settings in Lebanon and Kuwait. Since 2017, I have been running my private practice, where I provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and integrative therapeutic interventions.
I have worked with esteemed organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, offering mental health evaluations, psychotherapy, and psychoeducational programs on topics such as trauma, positive parenting, early marriage, and childhood development. My clinical experience spans diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, I am DBT and CBT informed, which enriches my clinical perspective. However, my primary therapeutic orientation is psychodynamic and psychoanalytic, with a focus on exploring childhood experiences, unconscious processes, relational patterns, and the deeper roots of emotional suffering.
My areas of interest and expertise include all types of trauma, psychosomatic disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, and gender identity issues.
